Questions before your next trip? Start here.
Do I need to add batteries?
No. The unit has a rechargeable internal battery and charges by USB-C. On a full charge it is designed to provide up to 8 hours of lighting depending on how it is used.
How do I recharge it at camp?
Use the USB-C charging input with a compatible power source. A solar-charging option is also listed for shoppers who want another way to recharge outdoors.
How do the string lights pack away?
Flip out the rear hanging latch and use it as the reel handle to wind the light strand back into the housing. This keeps the cable contained for transport.
What kind of light does it produce?
The LEDs use a warm white tone around 3000K for ambient campsite lighting. The unit also includes multiple light and strobe settings when you want a different effect.
Can it handle wet camping conditions?
The retractable string lighting is listed as waterproof for outdoor use. As with any rechargeable device, follow the included care instructions around water, charging ports and storage.
